Sun Print Photosensitive Paper

Sun prints with photosensitive paper are easy to make, even on a cloudy day. In a dimly lit room, we placed the photosensitive paper from the sun print kit on a cookie sheet and arranged a comb, a dime, a safety pin, Thomas the Tank Engine, and a leaf on top of the paper. The plexiglass cover from the sun print kit wouldn't fit on top because the train was too bulky. We carried the tray outside to the porch and set it down in the sunlight. Five minutes later, the paper had lightened. We carried the tray back inside and placed the sun print paper in cold water in the sink. Four minutes later, we removed a beautiful sun print and placed it on a paper towel to dry.
