These magnets are useful for demonstrating magnetic forces of attraction and repulsion. Used in Units 1 and 8.

Bar Magnets (pair). These bar magnets are clearly stamped with a N and painted red on the magnetic north end and stamped with S and painted blue on the magnetic south end. They are sold in pairs to demonstrate the attraction of opposite magnetic poles and the repulsion of like magnetic poles. They can also be used to show magnetic fields with iron filings. They each measure about 2 x 5/8 x 1/8 inches. Used in Year Four, Units 1 and 8.
