Teri's spelling lists that go with Year 1 provide three lists for each of nine months. Two lists are extracted from our Greek and Latin roots cards, and the third list is extracted from the recommended science reading (Teri pulls words from the children's own writing for the fourth week of the month).

Spelling for Year 1 is recommended for children in 4th grade or older.
