Many parents ask how we start teaching our youngest children. These preschool and kindergarten materials are commercially available products that are the closest to what we have been doing with our little ones. The materials are so remarkably similar, and the colors are so beautiful that we have substituted them for our old stuff with great enthusiasm. We have outlined activities for math, ABCs, and colors & shapes.
With each product, we include Teri's outline of page numbers for each week, as well as some extra suggestions for preschool and kindergarten activities. Each of the manuals is cut, hole-punched, and placed in a binder so that you can remove only the sections that your child needs for the week and for ease of use with plastic sheet protectors.
The Preschool and Kindergarten Letters binder includes 26 weeks of colorful worksheets (from McGraw Hill) for learning lower case letters for preschool and 31 weeks of colorful worksheets (from McGraw Hill) for learning upper case letters for kindergarten.

The Preschool Frog Math binder includes 11 weeks of worksheets (from McGraw Hill), 36 colorful frogs and a bucket balance to use in the hands-on activities. Concepts include patterns, first math facts, counting to 20, and some simple addition, subtraction, and comparing. This workbook is recommended for use after Preschool Math.
The Kindergarten Math binder contains 36 weeks of colorful worksheets (320 pages from Horizons) to build on the Preschool Math foundation. Topics include the numbers from 0 to 100, addition, subtraction, time, money, and geometric shapes.
Slip worksheets into a plastic sheet protector, and use a washable marker to save on worksheet costs. Reuse the same worksheet multiple times or for multiple children. Use additional sheet protectors so that you don't have to correct each page before starting the next page
72 Frogs come in six colors (red, yellow, green, blue, purple, and orange) and three sizes (36 small, 18 medium, and 18 large). They are not required, but help with the activities in Preschool Frog Math. Children love to play with them and four nylon laces can be used to string them together.
