Wool Carders. These are actually dog brushes that are used to remove bits of dirt, twigs, and debris. We discovered that they work well as less-expensive carders for sheep fleece. In addition to removing debris from the fleece, they also align the fibers to produce rolags that can be spun into yarn. These carders are smaller and easier to use than expensive ($50/pair), full-size carders. One pair of carders.
